Job Details

  • Vulnerability Management - Generalo Work with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) and AbbVie to develop methodology for vulnerability managemento Engage technology areas for remediation progress and statuso Track remediation progress; develop and maintain metrics for vulnerability remediation across technology areasoWork with technology teams as a contact point for general vulnerability remediation questions; engage technical vulnerability management platform administrators as needed
  • Vulnerability Management - Reportingo Collaboratively assist in developing integrated reporting solution including MSSP vulnerability data and Non-MSSP vulnerability data o Collaboratively assist in development and implement tracking methodology to ensure vulnerabilities are remediatedo Collaboratively work to enhance reporting for vulnerability management; advanced reporting skills
  • Patch Management - Generalo Manage relationships with specific technology areas more mature from patching perspectiveo Execute tactical tasks based on strategy developed by Security Patching effortso Assist in development and maintain ongoing reports indicating current patching postureo Keep security patching SharePoint site up to date from, including, but not limited to all relevant documentation and expansion of site structure
  • Patch Management - Metricso Monthly report generation and maintenance; expansion of report as needed; vision of enhancements to reporting including data representation improvementso Work collaboratively with security patching lead to develop monthly newsletter; develop and maintain content and updates for newsletter going forwardo Verify data/metrics from technology teams; follow up as needed to ensure teams are reporting metrics
  • Patch Management - Issue Management/Enhancementso Following up on issues and drive to resolutiono Maintain strong relationships with all technology areas involved oWork to identify opportunities for improvement oProvide support for emergency patching situations, including relevant communications, updates, and final close-out notificationsoProvide administration activities for patching intelligence tooloOther duties as assigned to support, enhance, and better the security patching eff
  • Other Responsibilitieso Work with management to provide project management/task support for ongoing managed security service provider effortso Track open tasks with service provider; ensure service provider is actively providing updates and statuso Update management on service provider progress on open tasks


Required qualifications:
  • 3+ Years IT Infrastructure Coordination Experience 2+ Years Information Security Experience
  • Exposure to enterprise-wide IT programs
  • Experience creating reporting for leadership and tactical teams based on complex data sets
  • n-depth knowledge of excel, including pivot tables and advanced graphing capabilities

Desired Experience
  • Experience developing, managing, or supporting patch and/or vulnerability management programs• Experience with Qualys vulnerability scanning platform• Experience with Splunk logging platform
