The Mobility Service Manager will be overall responsible for expanding and managing Amgen Global Managed Mobility Solution (MMS) program. Manages a team of subject matter experts in the field of day to day operations of mobile provisioning, day to day mobile device security. This position is also critically driving and overall responsible for audit and compliance initiatives with various stakeholders. Candidate must be able to work across multiple internal departments to assist with solutions, designs, implementations and overall vendor management related to MMS. Candidate must ensure MMS standards, policies and procedures are implemented and managed in a global environment. Candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Amgen's Telecom Expense Management program responsible for an annual spend of $32M.

Position will be actively working to drive the following:
  • Lead high visibility mobility team to drive forward Global Managed Mobility services program
  • Lead Mobility Audit Agenda to ensure audit initiatives are met in a timely manner
  • Champion creation of policies and procedures on mobile device usages in compliance with our IT Architecture and Information Security standards.
  • Socialize progress related to Mobility Management Strategies with Global Team Leads
  • Manage and oversee day to day Global MMS and TEM's activities while staying closely aligned with Global partners ensuring our MMS standardization are closely monitored and continue to move forward.
  • Identify new opportunities with Global input to improve/optimize MMS processes globally and standardize where applicable
  • Manage and oversee 3rd party Managed Mobility Services and Telecom Expense Management of wireless providers/contracts and various voice and data invoices
  • Lead efforts with Amgen internal stakeholders on various projects such a MMS Global Implementation and Clinical Trials Patient Equipment Provisioning.
  • Experience leading Global and cross functional teams, including scoping, defining, planning, implanting and documenting business opportunities
  • Bring of aware of new emerging technologies related to Mobility Services and TEM's practices

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience
OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Mobility Operations
  • Understanding of Telecom Expense Management Invoice, Processing and Validation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiations skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across a matrix organization
