Job Details
The GCO Training and Development Associate, Global Learning Solutions (GLS) reports to the GLS Global Commercial Operations (GCO) Instructional Design Lead, at Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, Florida, with responsibilities to support Global Learning & Performance (GL&P) Learning Professionals (LP) in all Commercial regions including US, Europe, Intercontinental, and JAPAC.
The Training and Development Associate is responsible for checking the quality of all materials that require additional review by the material approval and compliance (MAC) team.
They will need to have knowledge of basic principles, methods and practices of medical data annotation. They will also need a general understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
A Training and Development Associate will collect the required documentation and verify conformance of documents within MAC submission standards.
They will work under the general direction of the GLS GCO Lead and collaborate with the existing GLS team to support completion of assigned projects. They will also build productive relationships with members of GL&P.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
OR
Associate's degree & 4 years of Learning & Performance or Pharma/Biopharma Sales/Marketing experience
OR
High school diploma / GED & 6 years of Learning & Performance or Pharma/Biopharma Sales/Marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
o 3+ years of experience medical data annotation using Adobe software and Microsoft Word
o 3+ years of experience developing eLearning, ILT, OJT, performance support, and other learning solutions
o Prior experience with learning technology solutions and eLearning design software
o Collaborative work style with ability to solicit input, influence, and support decision making
o Project management skills
o Strong written and oral communication skills
