This critical position is responsible for working as part of a team to develop and execute the U.S. healthcare provider (HCP) digital marketing plans and programs for Repatha® - a high priority brand for Amgen.

This position will have the responsibility of managing multiple initiatives from concept through execution to help drive new capabilities for brand success today and into the future. The Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, management and analysis (including measurement and reporting) of a variety of online advertising, promotional and educational

programs, including: RepathaHCP.com ownership and optimization, targeted digital and point of care programs, video strategy and production, search (paid and organic), online display advertising, social media channels, and CRM programs. This position will not be responsible for management of direct reports. However, it will require significant agency management and cross-functional team leadership.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Be a key member of the Repatha® brand team; partner with team members and lead cross-functional project teams
  • Establish HCP digital programs to meet Brand objectives and drive adoption of new patients
  • Oversee and manage content development and analytics for brand digital properties such as websites and social channels
  • Lead brand digital strategy that includes aggressive expansion of pilot-to-launch efforts
  • Lead CRM strategy and content development
  • Manage outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute projects
  • Champion continuous improvement with our non-personal HCP activities and share best practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with key partners including: Consumer Marketing, Sales, Access, Corporate
  • Communications, Operational teams, and market research (CS&A) to ensure synergy with programming across all customers
  • Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible and compliant consumer communications
  • Manage budgets and closely monitor performance, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs
  • Domestic travel up to 15%.


Basic Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree

OR
  • Master's degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR
  • Associate's Degree and 8 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong marketing acumen with a solid grasp of marketing strategy, market research, segmentation, brand positioning, and tactical plan development
  • Experience developing and executing a wide range of successful digital initiatives across multiple channels such as website, display, video, mobile, CRM, and social
  • Demonstrated strength in analytics to translate data into insights and indicated actions
  • Creative and innovative, while also possessing analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with agencies and publishers to develop and produce engaging creative and media plans
  • Experience marketing to healthcare providers
  • Exhibiting passion and empathy to build meaningful experiences with HCPs by understanding their needs and desires
  • Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise strong judgment and live up to the highest ethical standards
  • Excellent communication skills and self-awareness of leadership style
  • Ability to build productive partnerships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization
  • Proactive, results-oriented self-starter motivated by a challenging task
  • Google Analytics experience and knowledge of SalesForce
