Relocation in the form of a miscellaneous allowance will be provided for eligible candidates.
We seeking a Grad Co-op to join the Drug Substance Technology & Engineering Team at our Cambridge, Massachusetts location for 6 months. The co-op will be responsible for the technology transfer and commercial support of biologics drug substance processes across the network, including both the Amgen manufacturing network and/or Contract Manufacturing Organizations. The co-op will work with a member of a team of engineers and scientists, as you use engineering principles to implement manufacturing process in a cGMP environment.
Basic Qualifications
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
18 years or older
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Completion as a first year graduate student before internship starts and currently enrolled in a Master's program for a Masters internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university
Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Preferred Qualifications
Degree concentration(s) in Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Supply Chain or related field
