Amgen is seeking a six-month undergrad co-op student to support Amgen Information Systems Infrastructure Organization. The co-op will report to a Senior Manager and will be based on Amgen Tampa site.

The co-op will have the opportunity to support the Department's projects, activities and daily operations in Amgen through the use of related technical concepts and tools. The co-op assignments will be supporting the IS Citrix / Windows team.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Perform meeting to provide status of assigned projects Perform process analysis Portrait information using Power Point, Excel and Word Create metrics and KPI Independently understand, follow and implement basic instructions Prioritize and meet deadlines Work as a team player and/or independently Interact constructively with peers Evaluate documentation and operations according to company procedures

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergraduate internship or an undergraduate co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

Must not be employed at the time the co-op assignment starts

Preferred Qualifications

Degree Concentration(s) in Computer Systems, Computer Engineering or related field

Current Junior Standing

Computer literacy (Excel Programming, Word, Power Point, Windows Server administration or Citrix support)

Leadership skills

Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMPs)

Clear and concise writing skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Strong decision making and efficient time management skills

Self-motivated

Good communication skills
