The BRC is the "Face of the Floor" in Amgen's NGW (Next Generation Workplace) environment, enabling all to work and collaborate more effectively and allowing staff to focus on the most important activities. This role delivers value to all by providing business solutions & supplies, assisting with technology, and supporting the physical work space. This role resides in a centrally-located space within NGW spaces. In partnership with IS and GFO functions, a BRC team typically supports 250 to 450 staff from diverse corporate functions and across all organizational levels.

Deliver customer-focused fit-for-purpose services including, but not limited to:
  • Partner with IS and GFO staff to provide customers with a positive experience
  • Provide New Hire / New Occupant Orientation to NGW Spaces
  • Assist with conference room conflicts and bookings
  • Assist with 1st-time set-ups, coordinate lock-out issues
  • Maintain standard office supplies for BRC, team tables, pavilions, collaboration spaces and for workshops
  • Provide small project services e.g. occupancy planning, work order-related projects, special events, workshop materials
  • Provide business training for use of software tools & applications e.g. Concur, MyBuy, WorkDay, Kronos
  • Manage mail distribution to neighborhoods
  • Provide back-up support for other PM Coordinators
  • Serve as a back-up for technology and facilities-related issues - either by logging requests or providing assistance if possible


Basic Qualifications

Associate's Degree

OR

High school diploma / GED and 2 years of administrative experience

OR
Certification that is directly related to the role and 2 years of administrative experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge in MS Office tools, Concur, SAP and Efinity
  • Able to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Discretion in dealing with proprietary information
