Sr. Recruiter - Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology

Paragon Bioservices, Inc. (PBI) is a growing Biotech Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with an internationally recognized tradition of quality and service. Paragon Bioservices provides process development and GMP manufacturing services for Phase I/II clinical trials to industry leaders as well as innovative start-ups utilizing novel technologies to produce state-of-the-art vaccines and therapies for people when they are most in need. As a PBI employee, you will actively contribute to the delivery of our services and products to our customers and their patients.

The Senior Recruiter will develop and foster strong relationships with hiring leaders, fellow HR colleagues & other key stakeholders to ensure understanding of organizational need to develop strategies to effectively source talent as workforce plans and as on demand need. Primary alignment will be divisional and functional with secondary emphasis on supporting initiatives on a "plug and play" basis as capacity permits and business need requires. The Senior Recruiter will be responsible for the development and delivery of creative, efficient, and effective sourcing and recruitment campaigns in response to clients' needs. This position will manage a high
volume of requisitions including building our employment brand in our communities, sourcing, screening, and managing hiring manager expectations while delivering a high level of candidate care.

This is a 1099 contract position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for end to end recruiting in the respective business area for niche skill sets
• Partner and consult with the business to understand business needs and develop, gain commitment and implement a sourcing strategy
• Consult and influence selection decisions ensuring a qualified, diverse pipeline
• Deploy Employee Referral Campaigns, Social Media Campaigns, Web-Based Search Strategies, & Networking Strategies
• Educate the business / Hiring managers on hiring progress and competitive landscape utilizing internal and external metrics and data
• Drive consistency in the hiring process and ensure a best in class hiring manager and candidate experience
• Ability to deliver on or exceed goals and metrics
• Travel, as necessary, to career events, company HQ for specified dates
• Reports on recruiting activities as required or requested by the client as well as responsible for educating business on OFCCP compliance and adhere to compliance metrics
• Ability to influence/coach hiring managers and leaders on recruiting process and talent decisions

NOTE: The position could involve up to 20% travel. Ideal location is in or near Baltimore, MD

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of recruiting/staffing experience
• Must have Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry or life sciences recruitment experience specific to GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with direct sourcing and qualification of candidates, including use of the Internet, conducting telephone and on-site
  interviews utilizing behavioral-based interviewing techniques
• Experience recruiting in a fast paced - high volume environment
• Thorough knowledge of recruiting/staffing database systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication as well as strong relationship building/maintenance, facilitation and influencing skills

Preferred:

• Demonstrated success in use of social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. to drive company branding as well as source and drive candidate pipelines RPO experience preferred.
