Purpose of the Position:

Working closely with site managers to develop and administer policies, programs and activities to support a positive and compliant employee relations environment. Contributes to the human resource department as a generalist in support of departmental projects and initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities:
• Support, coach and counsel managers across the MA business locations
• Development/administer HR policies and practices in line with the business needs, corporate cultural expectations and best practices
• Develop and administer wellness programs for the business
• Lead HR communications for the business
• Conduct investigations and execute corrective actions for HR related matters
• Provide support to HR functional projects and initiatives
• Provide coaching and counsel to managers and other employees on matters of performance and development

Job Knowledge Required:
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources with PHR , SHRM-CP or equivalent certification
• 5+ years of experience as a HR business partner or generalist in a manufacturing and/or laboratory environment
• Hands on experience administering HR related policies and practices
• Working knowledge of the regulatory environment as it impacts employee relations practices
• Experience in delivery of HR related training and communications
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems and HR related metrics
