Summary:
The purpose of the role is to lead the development and execution of the market access launch plans for one or more near-launch assets. The primary focus will be pozelimab, a treatment for PNH (a rare form of anemia), however, other new products may be added. The scope will be global (both US and ex-US.) This is a highly-visible role that requires excellent strategic and leadership skills. This individual will collaborate frequently with a broad cross-functional team, including clinical, regulatory, marketing, US/global market access, trade, pricing, health outcomes, govt affairs, medical affairs, and medical analytics. Therefore, he/she must establish productive and sustainable work relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Create the market access strategic launch plans for pozelimab in the US, EU, and select international markets

• Determine optimal pricing and reimbursement targets based on the overarching commercial strategy

• Lead all launch readiness activities related to market access to ensure that Regeneron is prepared to execute the launch (e.g. value proposition development)

• Collaborate with pricing and contracting group to develop pricing and contracting scenarios and final pricing strategy

• Determine plan for early access programs and compassionate use programs in partnership with the development team and patient advocacy

• Ensure that market access insights are incorporated into clinical trial designs for all lifecycle indications; identify clinical and economic evidence that payers will require to support target reimbursement

• Regularly assess the external landscape to understand the impact of changing environmental factors (competitors, legislative/policy, advocacy)

• Develop and maintain market access KPIs for launch assets

• Support the commercial lead with key activities including forecasting, country business case assessments, and business development initiatives

• Identify budget needs and effectively manage vendor relationships
Requirements:

• Highly motivated, self-starter who has a history of delivering results

• Strong understanding of the US payer environment and key global reimbursement processes

• Experience in biologic/specialty products required; rare disease experience preferred

• Product launch experience in market access required

• 12+ years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience

• 10+ years of market access experience required

• Strong leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
