Summary: This role is responsible for the oversight of the manufacturing project management function. This person supports the large-scale manufacturing department across functions and Regeneron locations, by managing a team of project managers responsible for taking ownership of implementing, planning, and tracking projects. This role will also serve as the project manager for projects and initiatives deemed critical by the department management team.
* The Level will be determined based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Manages a team working on projects that interfaces with multiple IOPS functions and locations
• Prioritize projects based on business needs and available resources
• Set direction for identifying and implementing projects based on understanding of the manufacturing department's needs
• Assess and quantify projects' impact to manufacturing, including risks and benefits
• Work closely with the project teams to ensure that all timelines and requirements are being met
• Develop and track metrics to measure performance and identify ways to improve efficiency
• Prepare, distribute & present project status reports to management
• Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Conduct clear and concise project meetings

• Ability to effectively communicate issues and ideas with peers and with management.
• Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate independently within a tight deadline environment.
• Is a high energy self-starter with a resilient, can-do attitude.
• Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment.
Education and Experience:
• BS/BA in Engineering or related field required with minimum of 7+ years of project management experience. MS in similar field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience managing direct reports
• Experience in biotech manufacturing is preferred
• Experience with managing a technical team preferred
