Reporting to the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, the successful candidate will support and contribute to the company’s Investor Relations and Communications objectives, including regular interaction with key stakeholders such as investors, industry, clinicians, patients and patient advocacy groups, and employees. Work closely with external vendors on communications initiatives.


  • Contribute to a range of corporate projects including internal and external communications
  • Manage the investor, communications and publications calendar; including investor events, meetings, scientific conferences, medical symposia, road shows and conference calls
  • Oversee all logistics for investor meetings; ensure coordination by responsible stakeholders ahead of event (conference registration, webcasts logistics and all travel booked and on calendar)
  • Manage logistics associated with key investor events (R&D/Analyst Days and Corporate webcasts at medical/scientific conferences)
  • Work with external vendors to manage and maintain the corporate website
  • Manage investor meeting database
  • Work with Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications to grow and develop patient advocacy relationships and corporate giving initiatives
  • Assist with managing the review process for key corporate projects with internal stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with IT, HR and other stakeholders to create and update content on corporate Sharepoint site
  • Work collaboratively with Business Manager to assist with town hall meetings and other company events such as the corporate presence at the annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference (hotel logistics, investor meeting grid, etc.)
  • Chair Mirati event planning committee
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, scientific, and business functions across the organization
  • Identify opportunities to further expand corporate, clinical and employee communications


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 5-10 years of demonstrated professional knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with multiple constituencies including outside consultants
  • Possess a sense of urgency; identifies challenges and problems and takes the initiative to identify solutions
