Summary:
Director, DUPIXENT Consumer Marketing, Dermatology

Main area of responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Global and U.S. Consumer Marketing plan for people with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis that is not well controlled on topical prescription therapies that will ultimately drive demand for DUPIXENT in a very aggressive market. Namely: agency management, budget management, patient and caregiver education materials development and implementation, campaign plan development and implementation coordination with market research, consumer message and creative development and execution.

Responsibilities will focus on the atopic dermatitis indication for Global and U.S. Marketing for DUPIXENT and will include:

• Contributing to and implementing a 1-3 year consumer strategy and tactical plan for the pre-launch, launch and post-launch periods.

• Develop and implement a plan for optimal channel distribution for communication with patients with uncontrolled moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, and their caregivers.

• Build business cases for patient-oriented programs that contribute to sustainable brand growth.

• Drive digital and social media strategies and partner to develop programs that reach beyond typical banner and paid search for accelerated brand awareness .

• Create and refine innovative patient education materials and execute plans for dissemination of appropriate patient materials via physicians' offices, email, direct mail, electronic delivery and other media.

• Working closely with Consumer Marketing team as a whole to leverage developed programs, and insure consistency in programs, and branding elements.

This person will report into the Senior Director, Consumer Marketing Lead, DUPIXENT.
Requirements:
-Demonstrated competency in managing a consumer marketing effort both internally & externally for a product launch.
- U.S. Consumer marketing experience, with at least 8-10 years experience in marketing, including launch experience.
- Global marketing experience, with at least 3 years global experience, including launch experience in a global role.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to develop and execute education programs and support materials.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members and across departments to insure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with affiliates in various countries to develop and execute education programs and support materials.
- Ability to create and implement patient RM stream.
- Demonstrated competency in media planning to ensure proper mix and optimization (media includes digital, social, mobile search, and general awareness print.).
- Demonstrated competency in agency management and budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to implement health literacy principles to impact overall consumer communications platform.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with research and development team members in transition of professional relationships to commercial point person in pre-launch and launch situations.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated Consumer marketing competencies in the pharmaceutical/biotech areas.
Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work with an Alliance partner is required.
Prior U.S. launch experience.
Prior Global experience, including launch.
Prior experience with self-injectable biologics strongly preferred.
Prior experience in dermatology and/ or adolescent indications preferrred.
Strong interpersonal & presentation skills required.
Ability to deal with all levels of the organization.
Must be willing to travel 30-35% (including weekend travel as needed).

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
Demonstrated experience in marketing of biologics preferred
The ideal Director candidate must have a minimum 12+ years of progressive related industrymarketing experience including at least 4 years in the Consumer space in pharmaceutical marketing, 3 of those years inclusive of Global responsibility
Pharmaceutical Sales and/or Sales Management a plus.
Advocacy experience a plus
