Job Summary

Are you a talent attraction expert with a vast LinkedIn network? Amgen is looking for three Talent Acquisition Leads - each one aligned to a different function of the business. You will support either Corporate Functions and Operations, Research and Development or our Global Commercial Operations team. You'll be accountable for translating business necessities and workforce planning initiatives into meaningful talent strategies and action plans. This role is as a strategic advisor to the HR VP and HRBPs supporting that function.

A Day In The Life...

We're excited for you to assess external labor market conditions, develop a deep understanding of our internal talent pipeline, and as a result, develop effective, talent acquisitions strategies, recruiting channels and methods.
  • Keep abreast of Amgen's business priorities and current and future talent needs. Advise HR and the business on what we should be doing to get ahead of these needs. Translate these insights into action and get results.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, metrics, insights and recommendations to the HRBP teams, the function, and to senior level business clients.
  • Seek out and introduce new creative recruitment practices that will address the demands of the functions that this role supports.
  • Identify and lead projects to improve our Talent Acquisition capabilities - to address both priorities within your function, and where appropriate to drive holistic improvements for Talent Acquisition as a global function.
  • Consult on workforce planning and other key initiatives as appropriate.
  • Partner closely with the Recruiting Process Outsource vendor staff that support the targeted function.
  • Accountable for OFCCP compliance and ensuring all legal compliance of our recruiting processes.

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Human Resources experience


Master's degree and 4 years of Human Resources experience


Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Human Resources experience


Associate's degree and 10 years of Human Resources experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Human Resources experience
