Job Details
This Senior Marketing Manager Position within the Oncology Business Unit to lead access marketing initiatives and programs for the Oncology portfolio. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a wide range of market access initiatives to support access to patients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Development of OBU portfolio access strategy for AA360 (including Hub and Amgen Nurse Ambassador services, Amgen FIRST STEP, and Field Reimbursement Specialists (FRS)
- Development and execution of resources/tools and training for OBU field force, AA360 Staff and FRS team
- Management of program resources and tools in line with legal and regulatory changes as well as user input
- Integration of healthcare professional, patient, and field insights into development of tactical plan to ensure appropriate access and reimbursement resources, support, and tools
- Timely update and new development of AA360 and Amgen FIRST STEP websites
- Project management of multiple tactics and programs across various field and internal stakeholders
- Proactive planning and training of key stakeholders including field sales force, AA360, Amgen FIRST STEP, FRS team members
- Overseeing and conducting relevant market research in partnership with CSA and integrating physician, office staff, patient, and payor information into the development of strategic and tactical plans
- Developing deep understanding of the evolving regulatory and legal environment and the ability to find win-win solutions in the MAC approval process
- Effectively managing performance of vendors and contractors, including advertising, training, and reimbursement support agencies
- Triaging/resolving access related sales force questions and issues
- Effective budget management in line with company goals
Basic Qualifications
• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
• Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
• Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience
- Strategic thinking and ability to take projects from inception to execution
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Project management skills
- Vendor/agency management skill set
- Demonstrated knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system (commercial and public), particularly medical benefit management and an understanding of coverage and reimbursement, payor environment and formulary management
- Ability to lead a cross functional team
- Ability to handle and achieve results with multiple competing priorities
- Oncology or marketing experience
- Access marketing experience
