Amgen's Worldwide Compliance and Business Ethics department has built a highly qualified and motivated team of professionals who will bring high levels of integrity, respect, experience, talent, perseverance, intelligence, creativity, energy and passion to become effective contributors within the company. Responsibilities Include:
- Document review and editing
- Preparing meeting agendas and minutes
- Soliciting and incorporating feedback on documents
- Performing assigned research tasks
- Supporting the maintenance of team Internet portals and document archives
- Supporting projects as needed
Basic Qualifications
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergraduate internship or an undergraduate co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
18 years or older
Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's or Combined Bachelor's/Master's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Robust dose of common sense, curiosity and willingness to learn
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply research, collect, and interpret information
- Time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite applications and Adobe Acrobat
