Associate Director within the Commercial Information Technology team will provide project management to execute medium to large scale projects or programs to support the growing Commercial Market Access business area (Trade, Patient Services, Pricing, Field Access & Reimbursement). This Leader will enable the delivery of new business capabilities that are required to drive key strategic objectives like increasing speed to patient therapy access and drug dispense. The role will drive projects by ensuring that standards and processes are followed to deliver a well governed and controlled implementation approach.

­ - Ensure the quality and on time delivery of technical implementation projects/programs with supporting deliverables and
­ - Develop deep understanding of underlying business processes and correlate to use of tools, data and solutions involved.
­ - Drive discovery and ideation phase to gather initial requirements and business goals.
­ - Establish business case to justify investments required.
­ - Facilitate selection of fit for purpose technology solutions to support business functional needs while taking into consider
potential complexity for technology portfolio, integration opportunities and total cost of ownership.
­ - Establish project plan and cost estimates that are in line with goals and value proposition.
­ - Establish vendor agreements and oversee 3rd party resources to deliver on day-to-day execution.
­ - Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide consistent and collaborative project delivery approach.
­ - Provide project status, anticipate challenges, communicate dependencies, issues and risks.
­ - Ensure that all SDLC project artifacts are thoroughly produced by project team.
­ - Provide consultation to stakeholders on technology requests and act as liaison to other IT groups for those requests as
­ - Complete lessons learned sessions at the end of each delivered project with a focus on continuous service improvement.
­ - Bachelor's degree Computer Science.
- 7-10 years of hands on experience delivering IT projects or programs. Both using agile and waterfall based delivery
­ - A track record of high quality, successful, on time and on budget delivery of complex projects.
­ - Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and motivate cross functional teams.
­ - Ability to organize and drive executive level steering committee discussions.
­ - Experience commanding status meetings and effectively holding team members accountable for deliverables and timely
escalation of blockers.
­ - Ability to actively anticipate, track and plan for risks, issues, dependencies, resourcing and contingencies.
­ - Experience managing project budgets.
­ - A history of successfully managing vendors and vendor-implemented packaged software.
­ - Strong communication skills with the ability to interface and influence people at all levels within the organization.
­ - Expert in translating and presenting technical concepts into practical business terms for leaders both small and large group
­ - Expert ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
­ - Expert ability to evaluate cross-functional business needs and propose creative solutions.
­ - PMP preferred.

Skills & Knowledge
- Experience partnering and collaborating with Pharmaceutical Market Access teams (Trade, Patient Services, Pricing, Field Access & Reimbursement) or similar roles in other regulated industries to deliver technical capabilities.
- Preferred experience working in the following areas:
- Contracts and pricing tools (Model N, Revitas, Vistex) and/or other commercial applications (SAP,, Vendavo,
- Patient services related platforms (HCP provider portals, eRx, ePA, etc.).
- Pharmaceutical commercial data sets (867, chargebacks, hub, specialty pharmacy, payer, etc.).
- Reporting and analytics capabilities using modern technologies (e.g. Tableau/Qlik, Informatica, AWS S3 RedShift).
