Value to the Intern:

The Intern will be responsible to ensure the accuracy of Purchase Order & Contract Data for PCYC. The intern will act as a liaison between the Procurement, IT, FP&A, Operational Excellence and Business partners to ensure review and clean-up of all Procure to Pay (PTP) information in the PCYC systems.

Value to Pharmacyclics:

· Work with cross-functional project Open PO/Agreement team to ensure complete, accurate, and aligned data between two of PCYC's main financial systems

· Analyze data errors, resolve root causes , and propose problems from end-to-end.

· Use Microsoft Excel to document the results of his/her analysis and present the outcomes to project team for corrective action.

· Track and report the status of all the identified corrective action items.

· Work with the team to propose process for standardization and automation of the new Contract process as well as the PO conversion process.

· Maintain documentation and tools to support audit.

Qualifications:

· Excellent organization and communication skills

· Detail oriented

· Microsoft Suite

Education Requirements:

· Completed one year of University studies prior to internship start date

· Be an active student in good standing at an accredited US University

· Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 or equivalent

Final Presentation

Each Intern is expected to prepare a short presentation to their team to share what they have learned through their internship and how they hope their new knowledge will help them secure their future career. Presentations should be 10 - 15 minutes long and should include visual aid (posters or PowerPoint).
