The Oncology Research Division at Eli Lilly and Company has established a robust pipeline of innovative small molecule and biotherapeutic agents to address major unmet medical needs of cancer patients.
We reaffirmed our commitment to invest in R&D facilities across the United States. We're proud to have celebrated the opening of our Immuno-Oncology Research and Development Center of Excellence in New York City. Lilly completed an expansion of our site at the Alexandria Center for Life Science. The site houses a dynamic immuno-oncology R&D center of excellence (IOCE) focused on advancing the next generation of immunotherapies. The research facility represents Lilly's dedication to developing life-changing medicines, and to improving the care of people living with cancer.
As Lilly Oncology continues its mission to deliver lifesaving and tailored treatments to cancer patients and to build an oncology powerhouse, we are seeking a highly self-motivated post-doctoral scientist to join our team of scientists to investigate the role of myeloid cells in resistance to inhibition of the checkpoint inhibitors and to identify novel pharmacologic approaches for targeting myeloid and NK cells. Do you have a broad-based knowledge and technical skills in molecular and cell biology, cancer biology and immunology?

Basic Qualifications
- PhD or PhD/MD in an Oncology, Immunology or related life science discipline
Additional Skills/Preferences
- Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills and have an outstanding publication record.
- Prior research experience in immune-oncology is desirable.
Additional Information
- This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend annually for up to 4 years.
