Summary: Delivers Human Resources initiatives to assigned client groups in a Human Resource Business Partner role. The Human Resources Business Partner understands business challenges and will support the development of solutions that address client needs. This role builds strong links between Human Resources (HR) strategy and business strategy. He/she acts as an advisor to leadership on organizational and HR-related issues, including but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, change management, organization design and effectiveness, talent acquisition and employee engagement to promote and maintain a high-performance culture. The incumbent acts as a champion for the business, our products and services, monitoring the effect of business decisions on people and advises senior management appropriately. This individual is not afraid to challenge the status quo. He/she delivers innovative talent strategies and solutions that yield strategic competitive advantage to Regeneron.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supports client groups assigned.

• Provides HR relevant project support to line functions as needed.

• Identifies potential issues and problems and resolve root causes that may be inter- or intra-departmental.

• Works as partner with HR specialist areas (Staffing, L&OD, Comp and Benefits, Payroll, HR Systems).

• Provides coaching to management, with an emphasis on leadership behaviors.

• Resolves employee relations cases in collaboration with other HRBP's and/or legal counsel as needed.

• Facilitates decisions regarding organization roles, staffing, development plans, succession planning, diversity issues, and internal employee mobility.

• Works with Staffing/HRBPs and client groups to identify current and future requirements. Participates in screening and evaluation, and facilitates decision making within department regarding new leaders.

• Collaborates with HR leadership and L&OD on development planning for leadership.

• Works with Compensation/HRBPs on annual compensation and reward and recognition programs, as well as developing career pathways.

• Collaborates with the L&OD function to coordinate training support and programs.

• Works with L&OD and other HRBP's to support the company's the 30/30 process.

• Conducts exit processes and follows up on identified issues.

• Follows up on survey data results in collaboration with other HR functional areas.

• Ensures that HR policies and practices are applied consistently and provides direction and guidance to all levels of management.

• Acts as role model for others in Human Resources as it relates to this role.

• Possesses a rational, confident and mature approach to decision making.

• Effective listening skills.

• Understanding of HR legal compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, having a sense of urgency and proactively proposing solutions to challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting and interact and build relationships across the organization.

• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills. Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets is required. PowerPoint will be useful. HRIS experience a plus.
Experience and Required Skills:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in a related discipline required; advanced degree such as MBA, or Master's or Human Resources preferred.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in HR. Experience supporting a manufacturing organization strongly preferred. Pharma/biopharma experience preferred.

• Must have experience working with senior management, scientific leaders, and/or technical staff, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical sectors.

• Some experience in staffing and/or Compensation a plus.

*Title level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
