Summary

As we strive to build novel, site and patient centric strategies to drive recruitment, the Strategy Implementation Lead is a critical role in our efforts and is responsible for the tactical execution of engagement and recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with enterprise partners and key vendors on behalf of our team leading to timely recruitment into our clinical trials. The Strategy Implementation Lead will demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration and contribute to the further evolution of our team culture of innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the implementation of the engagement/recruitment plan through ongoing oversight and connectivity with internal partners and vendors. Demonstrated expertise in strategic, operational, financial and project management specifically related to engagement/recruitment efforts.

Responsible for building and maintaining internal partnerships with Global Procurement, MultiChannel Hub and other stakeholders to proactively share strategic plans, monitor implementation, explore potential process improvements and ensure timely initiation of tactics. Build and maintain relationships with preferred vendors.

Provides ongoing status updates to the indication leads detailing progress against plan to ensure timely execution of deliverables within budget. Meets regularly with preferred vendors to assess performance, review key performance metrics and take corrective action, when necessary.

Partners with the indication leads to develop an in-depth awareness of the BMS pipeline and clinical trial book of work (BoW) and communicates as needed/appropriate with relevant internal partners.

Actively explores potential innovation opportunities through awareness of the external environment, focusing on patients and striving to become our site's preferred sponsor. Supports internal efforts to further the identification of new opportunities to expand our toolkit.

Leads cross-functional, global initiatives with demonstrated delivery of results.

Effectively manages stakeholders through strong competencies in communication and collaboration as well as timely issue identification and resolution.

Serves as a heavy contributor to the ongoing development, maintenance and enhancement of BMS Study Connect by seeking ways to leverage it as a communication platform to drive awareness of and access to BMS Clinical Trials.

Qualifications

BA/BS and/or MS degree with a minimum of 5 years of global pharmaceutical clinical trialexperience with particular focus on recruitment, retention and clinical trial support efforts.

Knowledge and expertise managing business relationships (including recruitment vendors) in the global marketplace

Demonstrated ability to manage a project with limited supervision and in building strong relationships throughout the enterprise.

In depth knowledge of the drug development process and overall clinical trial project planning and management including budget.

Proven track record of generating innovative ideas and the ability to influence stakeholders to ensure implementation. Stays abreast of industry trends in clinical trial engagement and recruitment.

Ability to work in a dynamic, ever changing platform, challenge the status quo and seek diverse viewpoints to build a strategy.
