Summary:
Business partner to Commercial functions and Brand Teams to ensure that Regeneron's interests are preserved, and our obligations are fulfilled throughout each of our collaborations. The Analyst, Commercial Finance will be responsible for many aspects of business management including contributing to the core processes for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis for decision support of Regeneron's current and future commercial products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and maintaining Commercial and Medical Affairs Brand Team budgets and quarterly reforecasts.

• Work with Brand Teams and other internal stakeholders to address a variety of business/financial challenges.

• Assist in analyzing quarterly budget to actual variance reports by Brand and cost center.

• Prepare financial analysis in support of ad hoc requests and various special projects.

• Work closely with internal Finance colleagues for corporate needs and deliverables associated with Commercial data.

• Identify process improvements and areas to increase support for both Brand Team's as well as internal cost centers.

• Implements tools and manages the resource planning activities, including FTE utilization across multiple diverse programs and cost centers.

• Ensure 100% compliance with all Regeneron standards operating procedures and policies, as well as governmental and industry regulations governing the sales, marketing, and overall commercialization of prescription pharmaceuticals.
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field

• Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience, Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of Commercialization of products in Biotech/Pharma industry.

• Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.

• Extensive experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with ERP financial applications (Oracle or Hyperion is a plus).

• Strong leadership skills including meeting facilitation, cross-functional team integration, strategic thinking, and advising. Must be able to create an environment for collaborative work for the team to be effective.

• Technical expertise in finance, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of automated systems for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, planning, and allocating resources for Commercial operations. Develops concepts, techniques, and standards.

• Proactive and analytical thinker with the ability to think outside the box and be adept at identifying areas for process improvement

• Ability to analyze Commercial financial data and prepare management reports.

• Required to produce accurate and timely financial budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analyses under tight deadlines. Must possess the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
