The Biosimilar Marketing Director will act in the capacity of developing and executing the Inflammation Biosimilar strategy and promotional plan. Additionally, this marketing director will establish and implement the inflammation biosimilar product positioning, core messages, while interfacing with the field team, leading semester meetings, and manages interactions with opinion leaders and speaker bureaus. This position will partner with cross-functional partners, the strategic planning senior manager, and the global biosimilar team to deliver on key brand expectations such as Launch Readiness Reviews (LRR), Latest Estimate (LE) forecasts, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). The successful candidate will also work cross-functional teams to analyze customer brand/competitive product utilization and market trends to prepare for product launch as well as identify the needs that differentiate the molecule.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in development of the Inflammation Biosimilars Brand Plan
  • Leads the development and execution of the Inflammation Biosimilars promotion plan
  • Leads the development and execution of ABP 710 Launch Plan
  • Determines and optimizes the marketing mix by audience
  • Develops detailed and effective communication plans and messages
  • Develops and refines Customer segmentation and targeting
  • Agency management (AOR and Studio1)
  • Leads the development and execution of Semester meetings and training plan
  • Aligns with Sales leadership on Sales Representative directives, POA, training
  • Website and digital strategy development and execution
  • MAC management and prioritization
  • Tier 1 & Tier 2 trade show plan
  • Analyzes customer brand/competitor performance
  • Leads key brand deliverables such as LRP, LE/forecast, quarterly business review processes


Basic Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience

OR
  • Master's degree and 6 years of marketing experience

OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of marketing experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Business or health sciences or additional education in biology, chemistry, life sciences
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with focus on marketing and sales including developing market strategies and executing tactics, and responsibility for revenues
  • Experience in marketing, strategic planning and/or sales with biosimilars and/or generics
  • Experience in gastroenterology and/or buy-and-bill products
  • Experience interfacing with customers, key accounts, and payers
  • Experience with pricing and contracting
  • Successful track record of operating and responding in a competitive, nimble, fast-changing market dynamic
  • Experience and understanding of health care delivery systems in the gastroenterology and rheumatology population
  • Field management experience
  • Track record of increasing responsibility within marketing
  • Successful product launch experience
