The AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a motivated and creative associate scientist with a background in Immunology/pre-clinical Pharmacology to work in a cross-functional team environment. This scientist will work in drug discovery in multi-functional teams and deliver high quality data to advance pipeline programs.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
- Conduct experiments in pre-clinical animal models of immunological disease with a focus on rheumatoid arthritis.
- Troubleshoot/establish in vivo models of autoimmune disease
- Engage colleagues in cross-functional scientific discussion, critically analyze and present experimental data to small and large groups
- Use of electronic notebook to maintain records
- Perform in vitro assays to support project screening funnels
Position will be hired based on level of experience.
- BS or MS in Immunology, pharmacology, or related field with 0-3+ (BS), or 0+ (MS) years of relevant experience
- Competency in all aspects of rodent handling and dosing (IP, SC, PO, IV).
- Working knowledge of data analysis software: excel, prism, PowerPoint
- Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
- Familiarity with in vitro assay systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Immunology, pharmacology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
- MS in Immunology, pharmacology, or related field with 0+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in flow cytometry
