Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated molecular biologist to join the Oncology & Angiogenesis group for a Temporary position. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the investigation and understanding of novel therapeutic targets. The ideal candidate has a solid background in basic molecular biology techniques and is eager to learn and implement new technologies. The individual will be generating DNA constructs for production of viral genomic vectors and other DNA vectors for gene delivery.

Responsibilities

• Construct design and cloning of different target genes into a various expression plasmids

• DNA sequence analysis of DNA constructs using software packages such as MacVector and Sequencher.

• Accurately and consistently record experimental methods, materials, and results in electronic laboratory notebooks and databases.

• Ability to effectively collaborate as part of cross-functional teams.

• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
Requirements
The candidate should be proficient in advanced molecular cloning techniques, including DNA isolation, manipulating DNA constructs through subcloning and mutagenesis, PCR, sequence analysis. Strong general computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, as well as extensive experience with MacVector and Sequencher software for DNA sequence analysis is required.

Minimal educational requirements: Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 + years of laboratory experience, post-degree
