We have world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, regional medical liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure our discoveries go from bench to bedside.

As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Senior Manager reports into the Access Marketing Director and is responsible for developing Access tools and resources to support the Inflammation Business Unit (INBU). This position will be accountable for development and execution of Access tools and resources for the field and the nurse educator program.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the nurse educator program and for creating access marketing tools for the HCP audience. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, tactics and operations of the nurse educator program. The Senior Marketing Manager will help foster a culture of continuous improvement grounded in patient centricity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create the messaging, promotional tools and data analytics for the nurse educator program, including promotional materials for patient and HCP audiences
  • Lead execution of Access Marketing resources to support franchise
  • Lead for MAC submissions for INBU semester meetings, new hire training, and other ad hoc training
  • Develop and implement tactics that drive an exceptional patient on-boarding experience, including promotional materials for patient and HCP audiences
  • Generate deep customer insights for improving customer experience and to drive increased customer loyalty
  • Works closely with Access Reimbursement Operations partners to lead thought partnership with vendors
  • Works closely with business analytics to measure program efficiencies and effectiveness and customer experience
  • Work with internal partners to ensure all programs meet Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards
  • Work with internal and external partners to provide guidance to budgeting process and to report on performance to budget


Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

OR

• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of biotech/biopharma experience including some combination of customer experience, commercial, product management and/or customer support and solutions
  • Confidence in working with staff at all levels
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detail-oriented environment
  • Experience leading or being a member of a cross-functional project team
  • Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and project targets
  • Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
  • Advanced skills and familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively present information
  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven
  • Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, active listening, and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues
  • Strong project management skills, lead and manage projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment
