The Commercial Manager Immunology position is responsible for bringing Commercial Excellence drivers to successful implementation to deliver brand success in the Latin America market. The Commercial Manager will ensure dedicated resources to assist affiliates in the successful implementation of In Field Team (IFT) excellence principles, playbook execution and other Commercial Excellence capabilities. The position will work in collaboration with the commercial brand leader and the international Go-To-Market lead. The role will lead the annual plan requirement for the brand in collaboration with Latin America commercial brand authority, International Go-To-Market lead and key countries in the Area. The annual plan will cover all 5 key strategic drivers, which include the Commercial Excellence - IFT, Business Excellence, Multi-Channel Marketing, Learning and business analytics/insights. The role will identify affiliates architype for 'full, light and only compelling' rollout of the Commercial Excellence drivers based on impact and return of the effort. Then the role will be responsible for timely implementation of Integrated Brand Management and IFT Excellence and other Commercial Excellence capabilities for the brand launches, as well as crafting a strategic and consistent way of measuring launch success.

The Manager will use IFT ePlaybook, developed by Global Marketing, to drive implementation. He/she leads the process and guide Commercial Excellence personnel in affiliates to ensure consistency of methodology across affiliates in implementation of Brand specific elements. The role will also ensure no duplication or creation of new tools locally or at Area, and will ensure innovation is elevated up for consideration - either to pursue and globalize or to pursue for local need with resources allocation or not to pursue. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Planning and Implementation of Go-To-Market Immunology strategies
  • Identify and architype affiliates in the Area categorizing in what is "full, light and only compelling" for Commercial Excellence capabilities
  • Co-create with affiliates and develop in collaboration with Area VPs, brand authority, and international Commercial Excellence Go-To-Market lead, the annual Commercial Excellence plan for the brand
  • Ensure a successful co-creation process between Global, Areas and Affiliates
  • Measure implementation timeliness, results and impact of the Commercial Excellence capabilities
  • Handle the launch dashboards

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required
  • Fluent in English and fluency in Spanish highly preferred.
  • Experience in the Latin America market preferred, but not required.
  • Experience leading preferred supplier programs
  • Immunology product experience highly preferred
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience required
  • Pharmaceutical marketing or commercial experience highly preferred
