Summary
Are you the RESEARCH ASSOCIATE we are looking for to join our dynamic Immuno-Oncology (I/O) bioassay team? If yes, look no further, this is the position for you! Our group works on the development of highly complex bioassays for I/O. Bioassays we develop, are employed for the screening of fully-human antibodies generated in our proprietary VelocImmuneTM mice. In cross-departmental meetings, we present and discuss our findings to our strong scientifically-driven senior leaders to move therapeutic drugs into clinic. The energizing environment within our group drives us constantly to come up with better approaches and concepts. Therefore, your passion, your enthusiasm, your scientific curiosity to create challenging bioassays is needed to find new therapeutic drugs. The following requirements and responsibilities are required for you to complement our team:

Responsibilities
Job Duties:
1) Isolate/process immune cells from human blood samples
2) Develop human primary cell-based functional assays
3) Cell Line Engineering
4) Develop cell-based functional assays using engineered-immortalized cells
5) Mammalian cell culture of adherent and non-adherent cell lines
6) Operate a variety of instruments including but not limited to HyperCyte, Accuri C6
7) cytometer, Cytoflex, ImageXpress micro XL, Victor, Hamilton, Envision Multilabel plate reader, cell Harvester
8) Set up and run bioassays for screening and potency measurements
9) Extreme attention to details and record keeping.
10) Provide weekly presentations/verbal updates
11) Keep abreast of current/relevant literature in order to further develop scientific expertise and expand scientific/technical knowledge and skill sets

Requirements
1) Strong aseptic cell culture skills
2) Stable cell line engineering skills
3) Flow cytometry expertise
4) Experience with Immunofluorescence staining procedures
5) Experience with luciferase based reporters
6) Cell-based potency assays
Minimum Years of Experience: The successful candidate will have a BS and ideally 4+ years experience or MS degree.
