Summary: Responsible for start-up, normal operation, monitoring and shutdown of all electrical systems and emergency generator equipment; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair work of all facilities electrical equipment. In addition, maintain the site's electrical distribution systems in a state of electrical code compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Electrical power systems and stand-by power generation equipment.

• Mark up and maintain accurate electrical one-line drawings.

• Assist in identifying and removing unused electrical circuits.

• Maintain an inventory of essential fuses and circuit breakers.

• Direct outside service providers to provide and install electrical work and PMs.

• Trouble shoot lighting and low voltage issues including control circuitry.

• Assist Mechanical Techs on facility or process equipment electrical issues.

• Work with Regeneron Safety personnel to implement and maintain electrical safety practices.

• Install lighting, electrical and computer wiring when appropriate.

• Maintain incandescent and fluorescent lamp inventory and follow established lamp disposal procedures.

• Have good computer skills and become BMRAM (Blue Mountain) proficient to assign and close out work requests.

• Schedule work and maintain all preventative maintenance for on-site emergency generators utilizing contracted services.

• Schedule and maintain documentation on infrared scans for all electrical enclosures.

• Schedule and make emergency calls on roofing leaks and issues.

• Develop, establish and conduct annual employee training classes for general Regeneron employees on electrical safety procedures and practices.

Education and Experience:

• AAS in Engineering or Construction technologies with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position is required; will substitute relevant work experience at Journeyman level in lieu of education.
