Summary:

The Program Finance Analyst serves as an integral part of the Program Finance team and is the key point of analytical support for clinical and program deliverables. This individual will assist in the day to day support of the financial activities and controls for relevant clinical trials and will be responsible PO requisitions, report generation from COMPASS (the Regeneron Project Tracking tool) including FTE forecasting responsibilities, and ad hoc financial analysis support. This position is also responsible for all clinical trial inputs into our financial planning system (Hyperion). For the overall program, the Program Finance Analyst will assist in the reconcilation of actual to forecast expenditures and will maintain the detailed program files for their designated Therapeutic Area programs. This role also will support building detailed budgets for government contracts.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Program Finance Team on the Planning, Forecasting and Reconciliation of financials for the designated Therapeutic Area Programs.

Prepare documents for PO requisitions and track vendor payments / outstanding commitments

Manage clinical FTE forecasts through project management (Compass) system downloads and proactive interface with clinical program managers

Generate and analyze reports from the Compass Project Tracking tool with a particular focus on FTE utilization.

Manage the input of clinical trial FTE and external costs into Hyperion.

Prepare financial analysis in support of ad hoc requests and projects.

Review Clinical Financial dashboards to ensure data integrity.

Maintain Program files for all programs in the designated Therapeutic Area

Assist in the financial preparation for BLA submissions.

Assist in government grant budgeting and tracking progress against prior budgets.

Requirements:

BS/BA in a Financial or other quantitative discipline with at least two years of experience in analysis

Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required.

Strong attention to detail required.

Strong organization skills necessary.

Ability to develop and maintain relationships with various levels of personnel.

Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel. Advanced Excel skills needed to manipulate raw data and provide meaningful analysis (Vlookup, Pivot tables, IF statements, macros).

Experience with Hyperion, ClearTrial and Qlik dashboarding is a significant plus.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
