Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated molecular biologist to join the Protein Expression Sciences team. The individual will work in a team environment to design and execute advanced cloning technologies to support Regeneron's development of the next generation of antibody therapeutics, across all Therapeutic Areas, supporting our entire research pipeline. In addition, this role will support optimization of our existing antibody cloning technologies. The ideal candidate has a solid background of basic molecular biology techniques and is eager to learn and implement new technologies.
Job Duties:
• Construct expression vectors for the production of antibodies and related molecules.
• Use molecular biology techniques for recombinant cloning of antibody genes into expression plasmids.
• Develop new methodologies to support high-throughput cloning.
• DNA sequence analysis using software packages such as MacVector and Sequencher.
• Accurately and consistently record experimental methods, materials, and results in electronic laboratory notebooks and databases.
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of a B.S or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biology or related field, with 2+ years of laboratory experience, post-degree. The successful candidate will have experience with molecular biological methods such PCR, cloning, and DNA sequencing. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required. Candidates should also be able to multitask and shift priorities as well as have a collaborate and proactive attitude.
