Cell Culture Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a CRO, is seeking Cell Culture Manufacturing Technicians. 

Description:

Our client provides services for the isolation of regenerative cells for Veterinary and Human therapies. We have an exciting position available in stem-cell isolation and manufacturing.

• This role is for an experienced person who has performed cell culture and cellular therapy manufacturing in a GMP environment.
• This role is in our services and manufacturing laboratory areas and is not a laboratory research position.
• The applicant must have strong aseptic skills, and experience working in controlled environments.
• Preference will be given to applicants that have prior experience in aseptic manufacturing and mammalian cell culture.

Requirements:

• The qualified candidate has a BS (or equivalent) in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related field.
• Must have at least 3-5 years experience in GMP cell manufacturing environment with experience in aseptic processing and management of cell cultures in cell factories.
• The successful candidate is capable of following SOPs and GDP in a laboratory environment and can contribute to documentation of the processes.
• Previous laboratory experience and aseptic mammalian tissue culture experience in a GMP environment is required; hands-on experience working with large-scale cell factories is preferred.
• The ability to learn, adapt, follow procedures, and work independently is a must. This position requires that the applicant be able to lift 30 lbs, may require management of other manufacturing personnel, weekend and evening work.
