We are currently looking for a motivated R&D Specialist to joing the High Throughput Antibody Screening and Molecular Interaction Support Group within the Therapeutic Protiens team. This person will support Therapeutics Protein activities in the high throughput antibody screening and biomolecular interaction group, in support of our Immuno-Oncology programs. This individual will engage in implementing methods to characterize protein interactions and biochemical properties using BiaCore, ITC, and other analytical technologies in support of the company's VelocImmune fully-human antibody pipeline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Antibody Characterization, method development, and analytical support for biologics development using biochemical and biophyiscal methods
  • Help troubleshoot established test methods used in development and release testing screening reagents
  • Tabulate results and write summary reports of assay development
  • Present finding at group and possibly at inter-departmental meetings
  • Maintain lab supplies and equipment
  • Produce and maintain accurate records

The candidate is expected to have, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, in addition to possessing excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and strong problem solving skills.
This position requires a minimum of BS degree, and 4 year of experience post-degree. Experience should include:
  • Spectroscopic techniques
  • Chromotography
  • Electrophoretic methods of analyses of proteins (SFS-PAGE, Western Blot)
  • HPLC & FPLC techniques
  • Immunoassay Development (ELISA & RIA)
  • Calorimetry
  • Protein Chemistry
