We are seeking candidates for an opening at the Senior or Principal Scientist level for the in vivo pharmacology group.
The in vivo pharmacology group is responsible for studying the mechanism of action of our drug candidates, conducting the in-life portions of PK studies, defining the PK/PD relationships, and running non-GLP safety studies. Utilizing syngeneic mouse model’s, you will elucidate the direct impact of our drug candidates upon the tumor micro environment, and define potential mechanisms of immune resistance to facilitate prioritization of combination strategies.
Prior experience overseeing in vivo pharmacology teams to successfully achieve project goals is required. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience of immune modulatory mechanism in syngeneic tumor models, however, candidates with relevant immunology and/or pharmacology experience, in non-oncology settings, will also be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to seamlessly blend the hands on aspects of the role with scientific oversight in a position that has potential for significant personal growth.
Requirements
· Ph.D in Immunology or Pharmacology with a minimum of 5 years industrial in vivo pharmacology experience
· Extensive hands on experience designing and conducting mouse efficacy studies
· A track record of defining PK/PD relationships for small molecules is highly desired
· Prior experience of preclinical models of cancer is highly desired
· Experience in managing personnel is required
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
