RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Director of Marketing will support the development and execution of strategy and promotions for our brand to optimize current indications and new product launches.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies that optimize the focus indication(s) of our brand
  • Leading tactical execution of various marketing initiatives
  • Develop promotional campaigns, messages, programs and sales tools
  • Develop innovative analytical practices to create and sustain competitive advantage
  • Develop and review key marketing materials
  • Lead projects through the legal, regulatory, and medical review process
  • Coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including regulatory and clinical affairs
  • Engage with KOLs as needed to ensure creation and seamless roll out of high impact, high value marketing tools
  • Collaborate with sales training to ensure effective, impactful, world class training on promotional tools and programs
  • Executive updates to prepare and present work and findings on a regular basis
  • Lead promotional activities at key trade shows
  • Manage program budgets and develop metrics to ensure success of the programs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in advanced science or business degree such as a PharmD, PhD or MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in developing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns for specialty products
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility within sales and marketing
  • High-level strategic thinking with the ability to concisely translate complex scientific topics to a wide range of audiences
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive business results in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and ability to drive influence across stakeholders to set direction, align work efforts, and ensure outstanding execution
  •  Experience working closely with field sales organizations to implement marketing programs with measurable business impact
  • Outstanding project management skills and experience managing multiple vendors, marketing partners and agency partners
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and presentation skills
