This person will work in Legal Pharma Operations in Tarrytown, NY. The student will learn about how medicines are studied, developed and approved by Regulatory Authorities like the FDA. We are considering any law student who has just finished their first or second year in law school. The Legal Intern will support the Pharmaceutical Legal Operations and Corporate Compliance groups. Our Pharma Legal Ops team provides guidance and advice to departments including the Clinical, Medical, Sales and Marketing Teams responsible for strategies relating to products that are in development and/or FDA-approved. The Corporate Compliance team is responsible for administering the company's compliance program, including the Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption (ABAC) compliance program across the company. The Legal Intern for our group will assist with helping ensure compliance with applicable laws related to clinical development as well as advertising and promotion of drugs including: ICH GCP Guidelines; GDPR, HIPAA and other data privacy laws; Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act; False Claims Act. The Legal Intern may assist in reviewing advertising and promotional materials, business plans/strategies, informed consent forms, and participate in compliance investigations and reviews.

• Must be a 1L or 2L Law student

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project
