This person will work in PMO, Engineering & Design in Tarrytown, NY. The CAD/BIM department is developing and managing a master set of drawings for the Regeneron campus. Working with the Sr. Facilities Documentation Specialist, the student will learn about the best practices in facilities documentation including how to leverage AutoCAD functionality to create and update the master set drawing files. This work will provide an opportunity to learn new AutoCAD functionality and become more proficient.
The intern will also learn about project documentation associated to renovation projects that are done each year. He or she will learn how the project documentation is managed and its impact on the master set. The intern will help import project documentation and associated meta-data into the document management system.

The intern will shadow other groups within the Real Estate and Facilities Management Department including Engineering, EHS and Project Management, to learn about their roles and requirements needed to develop and maintain a world class pharmaceutical research facility.

The intern must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to learn new computer programs and systems. The candidate should have some experience with AutoCAD and be perusing a career in Architecture or Engineering.

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student

• Must be pursuing a degree in Architecture, Design, or Engineering

• Must have experience with AutoCAD.

• Must be a motivated self-starter and able to teach self new skills from online courses.

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project
