This person will work in PMO, Engineering & Design in Tarrytown, NY. The student will collaborate with another intern in the development of the Core and Shell models of the Revit campus, adaptation of Revit and other 3D files from past and current design and construction projects so that they are located correctly relative to the Core and Shell models, and integration of all files with the Autodesk Vault indexed repository of Regeneron Building Documentation.

The student will collaborate with another intern in a case study using the Tririga Connector for BIM tool to link building space and asset data from a completed Revit project to the IBM Tririga Integrated Workplace Management System that Regeneron uses to manage space and asset data.

The student will collaborate with another intern in the development of Revit families for Lab Equipment.

It is an opportunity to work with an experienced architect with years of experience implementing Revit. Revit best practices for documenting a large campus of complex laboratory buildings will be taught to the Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for work world experience creating documentation in Revit that will be used within our department and by outside design and construction firms.

A strong aptitude for learning software is required, as is the ability to be self-directed and motivated. The candidate should have some experience with building documentation, either in school or in previous internships. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Revit, but those with AutoCAD skills and 3D computer modeling skills will be considered. Architecture graduate or undergraduate students are preferred, but those pursuing engineering degrees are also encouraged to apply.

The intern will get exposure to various groups within the Facilities Department including Space Planning, Engineering and Project Management for construction projects.

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student

• Must be pursuing a degree in Architecture or Engineering

• Must have experience with 3D modeling software and Autodesk products. Experience with Revit and database applications is preferred.

• Must be personable, self-directed, and able to teach self new skills from online courses.

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project
