These positions are in Research IT in Tarrytown, NY. There are 2 positions for Summer 2019. Each opening is described below.

Position 1:

• Collaborate with others to build the next generation of applications to support the ever-evolving needs of Regeneron's scientists

• Understand the needs and challenges across the business; help to define roadmaps and technology solutions that will support the business strategies and goals of Regeneron's Research & Development teams

• Maintain strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products; evaluate and implement new technologies, development frameworks, and languages

• Work hands-on at all levels of the application stack, including back-end, front-end, and operations; code on a regular basis

Position 2:
Regeneron's RAD IT Team is seeking a highly motivated Project Prioritization Analyst Intern. The analyst shall perform all aspects of project prioritization, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Compile list of factors important to different groups within the research team by interviewing various stake holders.

• Assign weights to these factors based on the importance assigned by the groups.

• Develop models to prioritize projects based on these factors and available budgets.

• Recommend and develop strategies to implement the new prioritization / project intake process along with milestones.

• Operationalize the implementation of the process.

• Develop KPIs to evaluate factors post delivery of projects.

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student (Position 2: Must be an MBA student)

• (Position 1) Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or similar

• (Position 1) Must have a knowledge of Java, Ruby, Python, GIT, BAMBOO, or JIRA

• (Position 2) Must have experience in Excel modeling

• (Position 2) Background in technology and/or pharma research is preferred

General Intern Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your summer project
