Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Associate, Quality Control position would primarily be responsible for sample coordination in support of our manufacturing processes. The staff member will be required to monitor the production schedule and coordinate activities related to the sample plan. This will include understanding the manufacturing processes, the ability to interpret validation protocols, in process controls, specifications and how all of these impact different laboratories within QC and other areas at Amgen and contract laboratories.

Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Facilitation of meetings with multiple levels of the organization
  • Issuing Certificate of Analysis
  • Logging miscellaneous samples, running queries, and representing sample coordination and Quality Control on various teams.


Basic Qualifications:

Master's Degree

OR

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of Quality experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of Quality experience

OR

High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Quality experience

Preferred Qualifications.

• Ability to interpret and apply GMP knowledge

• Advanced SM LIMS knowledge and Experience

• Familiarity of Manufacturing processes and analytical methods used during processing

• Familiarity with laboratory testing and requirements

• Able to demonstrate project management and presentation skills

• Independently collaborate with outside resources

• Troubleshooting skills
