2019 Experiential Internship (Graduate Level) - Statistical Intern

The AbbVie Experiential Internship Program

As an AbbVie Experiential Intern, you'll participate in a paid, ten to twelve-week summer program that is focused on providing students with robust projects throughout the summer. As an intern, you will be located at our corporate headquarters in north suburban Chicago, with housing and shuttle services for eligible students.

At Data and Statistical Sciences, through strategic leadership and operational excellence, we revolutionize the drug development landscape. We are pioneers in generating and leveraging scientific evidence to provide new treatments that make remarkable impact for our patients.

Pipeline Statistics provide statistics support for all phases of clinical development as well as global medical affairs.

Assignment Details

The intern will work on statistical research topics related to the pharmaceutical industry, and a variety of topics in clinical trial development.

Basic:

• Be enrolled in a graduate-level curriculum leading to a PhD in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformatics, or highly related field
• Have completed at least two full years of graduate study prior to the start of the internship
• Must be enrolled in graduate school the semester following your internship
• Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0
• Be in good academic standing within your graduate program and overall at your university
• Have a track record of accomplishment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
