Key Responsibilities:
The Director, Global Commercial Lead for CF Disease Modification will lead all aspects of developing the commercial strategies for this exciting future asset.

The Director, Global Commercial Lead for CF Disease Modification will lead all aspects of developing the commercial strategies for this exciting future asset.
- Leads the Global Commercial Team with overall accountability, continuously encouraging GCT members' collaboration and fostering team spirit
- Leads and collaborates across the commercial triad (GCD, Global, US Commercial), driving strategic alignment
- Leads analysis of the market and asset opportunity, identifies key segment value drivers, growth opportunities, evolved product profiles, product positioning & revenue potential to maximize the asset; represents the analysis at milestone executive governance meetings
- Drives development of asset playbook and asset strategy; crystalizing commercial and strategic insights by synthesizing product, brand, customer, and competitive information into the development of asset plans, including strategic positioning and early launch plans
- Drives prioritization of key leverage points in the treatment process and develops behavioral objectives for each stakeholder group.
- Develops a strategic communications platform, and drives data generation in order to satisfy global and area requirements for target product label and target product claims in partnership with GCT/ADT
- Identifies and solves for capability gaps in order to enable successful launch
- Is a conduit between R&D and commercial teams, fostering information flow to optimize asset
- Builds strong internal/external relationships, leveraging expertise to strengthen the asset value proposition
- Leads internal processes accurately reflecting asset opportunity and required support (Long Range Plan, Strategic Annual Plan, Lifecycle Management Group)
- Is the commercial voice at Disease Area Teams, Asset Leadership Boards, and Asset Development Teams and with organizational leadership
- Develops compelling presentations to convey the asset strategy to broad audiences, including senior executives via governance committees
- Identifies and solves for capability gaps in order to enable successful launch
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience with successful track record in pharma marketing
- Significant experience with US launch &/or on market commercial teams
- Experience in strategic positioning of products for success in competitive environments
- Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills as well as scientific understanding
- Deep understanding and experience with US &/or EU market access environment
- Deep understanding and experience with patient services/patient care models
- Strong financial acumen with a good understanding of P&L drivers and the ability to develop appropriate SG&A investment and top-line sales forecasts that generate long-term value
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives
- Experience with matrix-based teams and project management
- Excellent command of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Self-starter, proactively driving projects toward successful completion
- Experience in CF or other orphan diseases is preferred
- Experience working with external partners is preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, Ph.D. or M.D.) is preferred
