Job Details
The CMC Operations Coordinator will support S&T Biologics laboratories and will be part of the CMC Operations team. The Coordinator will interact frequently with customers in many functional areas including Process Sciences, Protein Analytics, Manufacturing Sciences, and CMC to provide a high level of customer service and laboratory support to our development teams and scientists. The CMC Operations Coordinator will be responsible for inventory management, lab management, equipment support, licensing, contracting, and contractor oversight for S&T Biologics. The CMC Operations Coordinator complies with safety requirements, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Lab Management
- Ensures laboratories are stocked with the appropriate equipment, inventory, and materials required for daily operation.
- Performs routine lab walkthroughs.
- Laises with Area ZBA coordinators, scientist, and EHS to run and monitor 5S of all S&T Lab Areas.
- Responsible for deploying lab shutdown plans.
- Manages and forecasts inventory in the laboratories and for the Scale Up Lab.
- Responsible for deploying and managing an inventory management system for special order items and materials.
- Initiates SAP orders/POs/purchases interface for special order items across all teams.
- Works closely with services vendors/organizations to optimize opportunity and reduce downtime on equipment.
- Responsible for scheduling PM/Maintenance of all equipment in the laboratories.
- Maintains equipment contracts for organization.
- Manages asset disposal/recovery/relocation process.
- Manages logistics and shipping, such as sample management and offsite freezer storage.
- Interfaces with corporates teams to establish scientific contracts (such as CDAs, NDAs) S&T outsourcing and services.
- Establishes performance review metrics of lab services. Analyzes data and proposes/implements improvement projects
- Implements other S&T Biologics tasks such as SOP updates, Requests for Capital Expenditure, as required.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- At least 4 years of related industry experience is required. Pharmaceutical experience is highly preferred.
- Must have demonstrated organizational skills, project management skills, and effective communication.
- Must have attention to detail along with an understanding of the laboratory environment.
- Customer support focused expertise is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, including HPLCs, AKTAs, DasGIPs a plus, but not required.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Project Management, or 5S training a plus, but not required.
