Job summary:

Amgen has a Phase III asset in heart failure, omecativ meracbil which is rapidly approach launch. The global marketing manager will support the executive director, global marketing, heart failure, develop and execute the launch HCP promotion campaign and resources for omecamtiv mercabil.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead global organization with very strong region alignment in the identification of brand name for launch

Develop in conjunction with the agencies the brand hallmarks, brand personality and brand vision for launch

Work with internal Amgen technology and customer experience teams to develop the global plan that maps the digital ecosystem for patients and prescribers.

Lead oversight of Global Agency of Record for branding to develop, track and manage the launch promotion program projects/budget

Initiate development of the launch brand promotional messages and launch HCP resources

Generate and apply deep customer / competitive insights to inform commercialization and launch

Complete key Commercial Strategy deliverables in preparation for launch

Partner with regional representatives to deliver on innovative and differentiating go-to-market deliverables

Support developing the launch governance documents

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of marketing and/or sales

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of marketing and/or sales

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of marketing and/or sales experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing and/or sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree and 2 or more years of marketing experience in the biopharma industry

Experience in a Strategic Regional Marketing or Global Marketing role

Experience marketing to cardiologists

Experience building and optimizing digital solutions

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Knowledge of and experience in working with the promotions legal/regulatory environment

Competitive mindset, including ability to champion ideas, take decisions and deliver results

Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence teams with diverse backgrounds

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, experience producing business results, and outstanding organizational skills

Proven ability to proactively problem-solve in a matrix environment
