Job Details
GCOIS is responsible for partnering with Amgen's Global Commercial Operations organization to deliver technology services and solutions that achieve corporate strategies and business plans. This role will service US Business Operations (USBO).
- Support the sales operations by managing the alignment processes and systems
- Provide necessary support for US Salesforce to perform their day-to-day operations (POA)
- Hands-on development in at least two of these technology stacks: .NET, SQL/Oracle/MySQL/Python, Databricks or any ETL tool, AWS.
- Highly detail-oriented and passion for data accuracy. Ensure accurate data delivery to Incentive compensation and targeting teams
- Document business processes and technical requirements to support operations.
- Coordinate sales operation support and system enhancements across business and IS
Responsibilities
As part of a USBO IS team this lead will responsible to:
- Develop and execute US Commercial Field Alignment Roadmap and Strategy
- Build and support the systems including new feature development, administration and support of existing software infrastructure and troubleshooting data issues.
- Coordinate and manage system enhancements with onsite and offshore team using agile methodology.
- Analyze data on daily basis to ensure accuracy of data published to business and IS systems.
- Contributes to the success of Global Commercial Operations IS functions by making fundamental improvements in how information is managed and business processes are operated.
- Coordinate governance processes focusing on the quality, consistency, usability, and availability of Customer, Product and Alignment information to the business and downstream systems
- Partner with business clients to develop and coordinate service level agreements, provide service KPIs and ensure ongoing application stability
- Focus on commercial data governance and establish governance processes around data, reference data management and key performance indicators to ensure an integrated definition of data, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, and reusability of data
Basic Requirements:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master's degree and 3 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
OR
Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
OR
High school diploma/GED and 12 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Software development experience, with expertise in two of these technology stacks: .NET, SQL/Oracle/MySQL/Python, Databricks or any ETL tool, AWS
- Experience delivering robust data management solutions to enable data across its lifecycle and deliver commercial data efficiently, consistently, and with adherence to data quality standards
- Solid experience / knowledge of all areas of IT (Application Development, Data Management and Infrastructure)
- Experience with IS technologies and processes
- Leverages the combination of prior experience, problem solving skills, and client engagement skills to drive commercial operations business towards excellence
- Strong data management and governance experience with pharmaceutical business knowledge along with technical aptitude in defining and implementing alignment solutions
- Experience in Global Commercial pharmaceuticals; Software development experience
