Amgen is searching for a Finance Senior Associate who will play a key role in financial support of the U.S. Region. This Sr. Associate will report directly to the Director of Finance in charge of the U.S. Region Finance consolidation group and will support financial consolidation of Amgen's U.S. net sales. The position will be part of the U.S. Region finance team and will work closely with U.S. Revenue Planners for our commercial products.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Lead the consolidation of Net Sales in the U.S. Region during financial planning processes such as the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-range plan and quarterly business reviews
  • Lead weekly sales reporting activities and variance analysis process
  • Assist with management reporting and support ad-hoc analysis to inform management decision making
  • Partner with several key business partners across the Finance and Commercial organizations on consolidation and reporting of U.S. sales

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Finance experience
Associate's degree and 6 years of Finance experience
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Highly accountable
  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and use financial models to inform decisions
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion smartview and SAP applications
