The Intelligent Automation Administrator will be based at Amgen Capability Center in Tampa, Florida. The candidate will be a direct contributor to the success of the newly formed RPA Product team to help build bots that help simplify business processes across Amgen. This is a high visibility role with lot of exposure to grow and learn multiple processes.

The Intelligent Automation Administrator is a key role in the Intelligent Automation product team. The candidate will maintain automated processes (the "virtual workforce") in production, schedules the robots, and manages robot workload. It will identify production issues and supports root cause analysis during issue adjudication and resolution. Top candidates will have an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong technical capabilities in process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the installation, management, and maintenance of automation technology platforms and infrastructure, partnering with other internal technology teams as needed
  • Responsible for development, implementation, and configuration management of security and credentialing policies for automation use cases
  • Coordinates production deployment, resolves issues, and oversee day-to-day automation operations and bot maintenance activities
  • Configures Control Room Dashboard or Automation Anywhere: Bot Insights dashboards
  • Manages automation technology licenses, user access, and system availability
  • Works with Intelligent Automation Developers to migrate and deploy automated solutions in production
  • Manages both proactive and reactive changes to automation solutions, including maintenance and management of the automation module library
  • Partners with the business and other involved Intelligent Automation Product Team stakeholders to resolve potential and current production runtime issues
  • Performs ad-hoc RPA and other Intelligent Automation script runs, as necessary
  • Supports release planning, based on portfolio priorities and Intelligent Automation capacity


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with systems development life cycle and agile programming methods including requirements definition, solution design, program development, configuration, operations, support
  • Ability to automate pipeline of Bot development, migration and software deployment on the Bot Machines
  • Ability to build dashboards to monitor Bot Performance, KPI's, metrics
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Identity management solutions and API integration of credential valuts
  • Experience and certifications for leading automation software platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath)
  • Experience with development and deployment of RPA and other Intelligent Automation technology solutions
  • Expert knowledge of internal support systems (e.g., Workday, SFDC, Oracle, SAP etc)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to resolve potential and current production issues applying a knowledge of upstream & downstream business and application impacts
  • Ability to learn existing application and data environments
  • Ability to understand new languages and tools
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Possess knowledge of functional support systems (e.g., Workday, SFDC, Oracle)
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of new platforms, languages, tools and technologies
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in line with business objectives
  • Familiarity with source control systems
