The student will work in the Infrastructure Operations & Support unit, Portfolio and Demand Management group in Sleepy Hollow, NY. There is 1 position for Summer AND Fall (full time, about 7 months from May/June to December 2019).

The student will be responsible for assisting the IT Portfolio and Demand Management team to support technology project management and operational efforts throughout the department. The student will be responsible for assisting in understanding and documenting critical technology project information while learning how IT runs as a business and partners with groundbreaking research and corporate business partners. The student will assist management and project managers in various areas of tracking status and reporting on technology services, including data center, cloud, engineering, unified communications, networking, desktop and lab services. The student is expected to maintain meticulous notes of their work including meeting minutes, status updates and project related documentation.

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student

• Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering Management, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity

• Experience working in an IT organization with an engineering management major a strong plus

• Must be an independent thinker, adaptive, and a rapid learner

General Co-op Program Information:

• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD

• Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) and is paid

• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)

• Enjoy regular 1 hour Co-op Program events: learn about other areas of the company from employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!

• Present to your team on your project(s)
