Summary:

This role offers the opportunity to join the FP&A team at Regeneron as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the G&A Finance team at Regeneron. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Finance Leads for several G&A functions, most notably the Real Estate and Facilities Management, Human Resources and Law Departments.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be primarily be responsible for preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts by working closely with the G&A Finance team. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will act as a cost center controller and analyze actual to budget variances, prepare monthly reporting packages, and assist the Finance Leads with ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the G&A Finance team with forecast and budget data inputs and identify and implement continuous process improvements within the G&A Finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with G&A Finance team to prepare informed annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts

• Prepare and present analyses, forecasts and reports to support decision making

• Forecast expenses and track and analyze results

• Structure and perform analysis and conduct research to uncover insights to help drive business decisions

• Provide analytical explanation of actual to budget variances for the G&A departments

• Supports other general and administrative departments with ad-hoc financial analyses as needed

• Identify and implement continuous process improvements within the G&A Finance team

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Charts, Functions & Formulas

• Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles and P&L statements

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint

• Experience with a planning tool such as Hyperion Planning is an plus

• Experience with reporting and dashboard tools is a plus (Hyperion, Qlik, Cognos)

Minimal Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree required, Masters of Business Administration preferred

Minimum Years of Experience: 2-5 years FP&A experience required
