Paragon Bioservices provides process development and GMP manufacturing services for Phase I/II clinical trials to industry leaders as well as innovative start-ups utilizing novel
technologies to produce state-of-the-art vaccines and therapies for people when they are most in need. As a PBI employee, you will actively contribute to the delivery of our services and products to our customers and their patients

The Communications Manager will report in to the Sr Director of Marketing and Communications, working directly with the CEO and Executive Leadership team to craft presentations, videos, organizational announcements and change management communications. You will work across our areas of business, with leaders from all functions to explain our business opportunities and growth plans in a compelling manner, creating alignment internally and externally across a variety of channels. You will liaison with external vendors
as needed to enhance and cascade key messages effectively while you execute a strong cadence of internal and external communication rhythms, including quarterly communications meetings, strategic planning sessions, employee
newsletters, and the like.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement annual strategic communications plan identifying key communication deliverables in support of business goals. Communications will be focused with the intent of promoting the company externally as well as promoting greater
    transparency via communications to our workforce.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of all communications mediums, such as newsletters, digital screens and regular email bulletins.
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior leaders for presentations to employees in written or spoken form.
  • Ensure communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization.
  • Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages.
  • Respond to feedback from all venues and adjust communications content accordingly.
  • Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organization, either face to face or through regular written communication.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or other business field
  • 5+ years of corporate communication experience both internal and external
  • Self-starter: Comfortable with taking the initiative and implementing new communications strategies and ideas across the organization, operating under minimal supervision.
  • Writing skills: Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, focused on cohesive messaging.
  • Interpersonal skills: Have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with cross-functional teams. You
    also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them.
  • Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies Digital skills: Familiarity with information
    technology, especially digital and video means of communication.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Suite- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with demonstrated experience in developing visually
    effective presentations
  • Must possess exceptional project management skills, including experience leading multiple assignments from conception to completion on deadline and within budget
  • Understanding of Social Media - how and when to use effectively.
  • Must be able to keep sensitive information 100% confidential
